スウェーデン出身のプロデューサーPrydaが、2007年に残したエレクトロアンセム“Armed”を収録した12inch。裏面の9分に渡る“Rymd”もキラーで、北欧エレクトロの心地良さが淡々と続くと思いきや、中盤から扇動的なSEが脳天を揺らします。サイレンのような高低の波の間隔が徐々に収縮し、電撃的な状態からロングブレイクへと突入していく、多くのお客さんを一気に持っていく力を秘めたトラックです。レコードは依然、価格高騰中です。

This 12inch features "Armed," the electro anthem released in 2007 by the Swedish producer Pryda. The A-side track "Rymd"—clocking in at nine minutes—is also a killer; while it initially unfolds with the smooth, pleasant vibe characteristic of Nordic electro, a rousing sound effect kicks in midway through to shake the listener to the core. With siren-like oscillating tones that rapidly tighten in frequency, the track surges from an electrifying intensity into a long breakdown—possessing the power to instantly captivate a crowd. The record continues to command high prices on the market.
