私たちが過去から未来へ流れていると思い込んで処理している、情報の断片を拾い集めて、両手で固着させたような質感です。タイトルの由来は不明ですが、日本語訳は「悪の華」。1800年代のフランス詩人ボードレールが、伝統的な形式を打ち破った詩集と同名です。
This is the fourth release from Houston-based producer Rabit via his own label, Halcyon Veil. The album comprises twelve experimental tracks in which shifting, shape-shifting noise writhes dramatically amidst vocal samples, strings, and piano.
It possesses a texture akin to gathering fragments of information—which we typically process under the assumption that time flows linearly from past to future—and fusing them together firmly between one's hands. While the origin of the title is unclear, it translates to "Flowers of Evil" (*Les Fleurs du mal*); this is the same title as the poetry collection by the 19th-century French poet Baudelaire, a work that shattered traditional poetic forms.
