このテープは、塩尻寄生が店番をしていた雨の丑三つ時に、Rawmen Recordsに現れた男の証言を元に制作された。焦点が異常に合った目で支離滅裂な言葉を一方的に浴びせ続ける男は、「浮島」という空に浮かぶ島に行ったことがあるらしい。1人になり、印象の色彩が鮮明なうちに、男が滞在した24時間の浮島の情景を、Rawmen Recordsの2台のターンテーブルとレコードによるmixで記録した。
浮島では重力の束縛から解放され、宙を自在に浮遊できる。A面は、晴れ渡る天空の高原で、秋茜の群れと踊った記憶が収められている。B面には、信頼できる人魂たちと森の奥の光へ向かってから、下界の路上で目が覚めるまでの体験が記録されている。男のことは、それから見ていない。
This tape was created based on the testimony of a man who appeared at Rawmen Records late one rainy night while Shiojiri Kisei was minding the shop. With eyes fixed in an unnerving, intense stare, the man unleashed a torrent of incoherent words; he claimed to have visited "Ukishima" (Floating Island), a landmass suspended in the sky. While the impression was still vivid in his mind, Shiojiri Kisei―working alone―recorded the scenes of the man’s twenty-four-hour sojourn on the island by mixing records on the shop's two turntables.
On Ukishima, one is liberated from the bonds of gravity and can float freely through the air. Side A captures the memory of dancing with a swarm of autumn dragonflies on a highland plateau beneath a clear, open sky. Side B documents the journey―made alongside trusted Will-o'-the-wisps―toward a radiance deep within the forest, concluding with the moment the man woke up on a street in the world below. He was never seen again.
